Switching from Apache to nginx on an inuse virtualmin install?

I really want to switch from apache to nginx because it frees up so much memory and seems to handle large server loads better. I saw in the docs that you advise not switching to nginx if you have virtual servers with websites created; however, I have two sites currently running on my virtualmin install. Is it possible to switch nginx?
