Move virtual server parent->child bug

Hello Folks!

I discovered a bug when moving virtual server parent with child's to another parent. I use latest version of today's date of virtualmin and centos latest version of today.

Moving a parent virtual server that has a couple of child:s to another parent virtual server this will happen: 1. The parent will be move to the other parent and become child underneath it.

  1. The child:s of the parent that we moved ends up in a broken status, they are child's but has no parent anymore. Also the paths to user files. They appear in the GUI as parent:s.

Anyone who have seen this before ?

That seems like a bug - the sub-servers of the parent being moved should have ended up as sub-servers of the new parent.

Were this alias domains, or full virtual servers with content?

Hello Jamie!

I use virtualmin gpl not to confuse so to say.

Yes it was full virtual servers with content, users and mail, and it seems broken after the operation.

The little tree inside virtualmin gui shows the previous parents child's like parents of it's own after, but they do not work properly.

Ok, I will do some debugging for this and let you know what I find.

I was able to re-produce this problem, and found the bug that caused it. This will be fixed in the next Virtualmin release.
