FTP/SFTP connection and large files

I have added FTP user to an account and assign to that user shell /bin/sh so can connect using SFTP. I have tested connection with a small file but it comes that can't upload anything bigger than 0.5GB.

I have tried to connect with root privileges and use SFTP to upload larger file (0.8GB) and I'm getting disconnected often with an error "Optimize connection buffer size"

Any clue what is going on with both issues?

Howdy -- you may want to take a look in /var/log/messages when your SFTP session is dropped and see if any error messages show up in there.

However, it looks like you're using Virtualmin GPL there. For folks using Virtualmin GPL, we'd encourage you to use the Forums for obtaining support. We monitor the Forums, along with lots of wonderful folks in the community!
