FTP connect repeat .. upload failed! Failed to read reply to initial connection

it it possible to make repeat of ftp connect ?
because when backup uload to ftp
failed I am gt error
.. upload failed! Failed to read reply to initial connection

Howdy -- it does indeed attempt to re-try the FTP upload itself, but it doesn't re-try the connection/login attempt.

Normally, the issue there is that the password was incorrect, so it doesn't re-try sending the same password.

Are you seeing that issue frequently though?

yes this problem become when backup server changed to new (proftpd server)

but 1-2 websites of 7 got that same error on each backup

ftp password 100% correct

.. upload failed! Failed to connect to 150.17.188.26:21 : Connection refused

What shows up in the logs of your ProFTPd server when the backups are unable to connect to it?
