VPS, Set or change my host name

Hello,

In my VPS it shows that my host name is "vmi123.hostingprovidername.host now i really need to change that name but what if i use 2 new domains in the same server what will happen?

eg. if i set my host name to be "vps.mydomain.host" and i have another 2 different domain names will all my domain use the same host name?
