Howdy,

Sure! You can import Plesk backups using Virtualmin.

To do that, go into Add Servers -> Migrate Virtual Server, and there you can point it to your Plesk backups.
'
That should work well, but if you run into any problems let us know what issues you see.

And yes, there's a lot of Virtualmin installations, both Pro and GPL. It's hard to pinpoint an exact number, as Virtualmin GPL is given away for free, but installations are measure in the hundreds of thousands.

We also just released Virtualmin 5, with a brand new HTML5 theme. Check it out and let us know what you think!

What if I wanted to migrate from one server that has plesk to a different one on which I've installed Virtualmin?

@kandra101,

You would use the "Migrate Virtual Server" feature to "import" a former Plesk domain into Virtualmin.

One would use the "Migrate Virtual Server" feature - if it only was working. For Plesk 17.5 it is NOT.

** Update, Thanks guys. I successfully migrated a domain from Plesk Onyx Version 17.8.11 to Virtualmin version 6.03.
