Help - made mistake installing SSL Cert

Hi there. I think I made a mistake when installing a certificate on the server.

When I try and access webmin now, it says I cannot continue.

Can I remove this certificate or anything to get back to the self signed one that was there before?

Here is the message in the browser, I have removed the IP address..

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx normally uses encryption to protect your information. When Google Chrome tried to connect to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx this time, the website sent back unusual and incorrect credentials. This may happen when an attacker is trying to pretend to be xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, or a Wi-Fi sign-in screen has interrupted the connection. Your information is still secure because Google Chrome stopped the connection before any data was exchanged.

You cannot visit xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx right now because the website sent scrambled credentials that Google Chrome cannot process. Network errors and attacks are usually temporary, so this page will probably work later.

Howdy,

You can always edit /etc/webmin/miniserv.conf, and there, set "ssl=0". After that, restart Webmin.

That will allow you to access it using "http", rather than "https".

Then, you should be able to access Webmin and correct the SSL issue.

That might be a massive help thank you. Will give it a go!

What is the correct way to install a SSL certificate on to the virtual server, and then apply it to webmin too?

I'm going to try and use the free one from start ssl
