Does Virtualmin on Centos 7 actively block torrents?

Morning All

I've been gifted a server from my new work, and, of course, the first thing I did was throw Virtualmin on Centos 7 at it.

I've since passed probation, which means work will now pay for qualifications etc. Unfortunately its all Windows Quals, however I do get to pick some networking ones later on. So I've thrown phpvirtualbox at the Virtualmin server and we're cooking with gas. To the issue:-

Whilst I've got this wonderful toy, I want to improve my linux knowledge as well, as I believe that anything a windows network can do, a linux one can without the licence cost, so I was going to build some linux VMs too. I can download the torrents for the ISOs on my pi, then SSH them over, but it smacks of steps for steps sake. I dropped Transmission onto the Centos 7 box, this works, but it cant seem to find seeds / peers for the torrents.

I've tried opening ports on the iptables firewall, but the issue remains. Is there something else, probably more obvious, that I am missing?

Setup:- Centos 7 minimal ISO Virtualmin GPL Groupinstall "base" Virtualbox PHPVirtualmin Transmission

Kindest Regards

Alex
