After installing phpmyadmin error #1045

Hi,

I am running PHP5.6.5 on Centos 7.2.1511, latest version of Webmin 1795 and Virtualmin, actually on a completely fresh install.

After installing PHPMyadmin on one of the virtual hosts, the phpmyadmin page shows just fine, but when trying to login, it displays an error #1045 "Cannot log in to the MySQL server"

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the script, I have changed password, but to no avail....

Any ideas on what to do...?
