OAuth2 token could not be used to call the Google API : HTTP/1.0 403 Forbidden

Hello,

I just purchased Virtualmin Pro and am trying to get the Cloud Storage Providers > Google Cloud Storage (the reason I upgraded to pro).

When I try to authorize with my OAuth2 credentials with the token, it always returns, "OAuth2 token could not be used to call the Google API : HTTP/1.0 403 Forbidden. Maybe the token or project name is incorrect?"

Is there anything else I need to purchase for this to work? I've gone through the settings on Google API setup many times but can't get past this. Maybe I need to purchase a valid SSL cert for my server? At this point, I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks!

If you are setting this up from scratch bear in mind several things.

You have to ENABLE "Google Cloud Storage JSON API" within the google API manager. You have to ENABLE "Google Cloud Storage" You need to sign up for Google Cloud Storage (not the same as Google Drive) https://console.cloud.google.com/storage You need to create a storage bucket (I chose nearline for the backups)

Once you've done all that then you can go ahead and setup the backup provider and schedule. I've set this up from scratch this evening and apart from the CPAN Perl issue it went ok in the end.
