It's been requested by a few folks that we setup a mailing list for Virtualmin update announcements (since lots of folks prefer that to forums, even forums with notifications). I promised I'd do that before the next release of Virtualmin, Webmin, or Usermin...and, since we've got a new version of Webmin coming in the next day or so, as well as an updated module or two, here it is!
So, if you want to receive email notifications about Virtualmin and Cloudmin updates (and updates to Webmin and Usermin in the Virtualmin and Cloudmin repositories), you can sign up for the Google group here:

If you have a Google account, but want to receive the messages on a non-GMail address, you'll need to log out of Google, as it will try very hard to setup your subscription to send to GMail.
This will provide archives, good search features, and I think we can reasonably expect Google to stick around for many years. (We use to run our own mailman lists, but I don't really want the additional maintenance burden of that, given how short staffed we already are.)
This is an announcement only list, which only moderators can send mail to. It will be very low traffic; it will receive about one message every week or two, as new versions of things come out. Pretty much stuff that we post to this News forum will also get posted to the announce mailing list at roughly the same time.
