I don't know what happened, but I did an upgrade last night of 13 things: bind was first, dovecot, etc. It only got to bind and then crashed my system. I didn't realize until this morning.
So what happened is SSH was working, webmin down, apache down. I couldn't get anything up so I rebooted, nothing was started, I had to manually start apache, webmin. I was then able to start bind, mail server and ProFTPD via webmin. I don't think we'll ever find the culprit, but it was very crazy what happened.
