Virtualmin install error - "Sendmail is only accepting SMTP connections on the following ports : .."

New Cent OS 6 machine, I installed webmin first, I guess I shouldn't have because I can't get past the following error trying to install virtualmin:

"Sendmail is only accepting SMTP connections on the following ports : 127.0.0.1 port smtp. Email from other systems on the Internet will not be accepted. This can be changed in the Sendmail Mail Server module."

Does anyone know what I have to edit, how to allow mail from other systems? The module's links do not provide any clear instruction n how to get past this so virtualmin can not be installed.

forget this post. I solved that problem, finally, but every time I fix something another error appears. Virtualmin can not be installed after webmin, I've wasted an entire day on this defective thing.
