When I created a 2nd Virtual Server site responds (Forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server.). STUMPED

Operating system Ubuntu Linux 14.04.4 Perl version 5.018002 Path to Perl /usr/bin/perl BIND version 9.9 Postfix version 2.11.0 Mail injection command /usr/lib/sendmail -t Apache version 2.4.7 PHP versions 5.5.9, 5.6.31, 7.0.22, 7.1.8 Webalizer version 2.23-08 Logrotate version 3.8.7 MySQL version 5.5.57-0ubuntu0.14.04.1-log PostgreSQL version 9.3.18 ProFTPD version 1.35 SpamAssassin version 3.4.0 ClamAV version 0.99.2

I created top Level Domain1 email, site, works fine. Even created sub-domain under Domain1 site works fine etc. Now when I created a top Level Domain2 I get the Forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server.

I know this is easy but I am dumbfounded.

home/user/public_html

I placed a simple index.html but still no access from the web

apache error log: AH00035: access to / denied (filesystem path '/home/user/public_html') because search permissions are missing on a component of the path

The virtual server is created correctly no issues (I see where www-data is added to server group:

example: Adding new virtual website .. .. done Adding webserver user www-data to server's group .. .. done Performing other Apache configuration .. .. done Setting up scheduled Webalizer reporting .. .. done Creating SSL certificate and private key .. .. done Adding new SSL virtual website .. .. done Setting up log file rotation .. .. done Creating MySQL login ..

Anybody having this issue or can point me in the right direction? -Rich

Well while asking for help I decided to try a search one more time and I went and rechecked my ldap.conf. I know I had removed this but I'm going to keep my eyes open going forward to see if it comes back edit: "edit the /etc/ldap.conf file, find the nss_initgroups_ignoreusers line and remove www-data from it."

I can access my 2nd top level domain again.
