Postfix log in stop working

Anyone else having a problem sending through Postfix using SMTP auth. I have had VirtMin running for several months using smtp-auth without any issue. Yesterday out of the blue I can't log in to Postfix to send out email. I can send via webmail. I have entered my client IP in "Local networks" as a temp fix, but can't figure what has stopped login. I have not done any updates recently either. Any ideas?

What's in /var/log/maillog when you attempt to send?

Hey Joe,

Sep 13 15:57:50 host postfix/smtpd[[18764]]: warning: SASL authentication failure: cannot connect to saslauthd server: No such file or directory

I restarted with.

/etc/init.d/saslauthd start

Were back up. Thanks
