I tried to switch to Authentic theme some month ago and have really have tried to "get used to it" but I'm struggling with bugs(I think) and strange behavior all the time!
I can no longer get the theme to start on the System Information page when logging in. It ALWAYS starts on the page active when logging out! The settings in "Theme Configuration/Default Pages" is also not respected by the theme. This is really annoying, How do I get the theme to always start at the System Information page?
The Theme extensions I had and want to use is deleted!!! What is the use to have custom extensions when they are removed without any information or questions regarding the action. Why is my custom extensions deleted?
If I should click browsers "back button" the right window "freezes" with a "progress wheel" that never stops, If i then click refresh the theme "brakes out" from the layout leaving just the right frame, the menu frame to the left is gone! The only way to get back to the whole theme is to edit the URL in the address bar.
The File manager "sort of works" but has a long way before it even get close to the excellent Java File Manager.
And there are so many other thing not working or working poorly. I do like the look of the theme but for my purpose in a business I don't need all fancy stuff, I do prefer a simple and fast layout that also has user friendly layout.
And still the Authentic Theme is slow in comparison to the Virtualmin Framed Theme.
Dedicated server running CentOS Linux 7.4.1708, Webmin 1.860, Usermin 1.720, Virtualmin 6.01 Pro, Authentic Theme 19.04. My computer is running latest Windows 10, Latest Firefox ESR (52.5.0).
Thinking of switching back to the nice and fast Virtualmin Framed Theme but I don't know how long it will be supported.

It's my unbendable intention to make Authentic just as good and as fast as previous themes.
Let me look into your issues. I will do it as well on CentOS/RHEL 7 VM.
You say that "it ALWAYS starts on the page active when logging out: Well, this was only true, if you try to login using other browser's tab. In case you hit logout and then login - it will work. I'm not sure what you mean by extensions to be removed? They are where they always were at Theme's Settings/Extensions. You can also access them using quick search bar in navigation menu. I just checked them as well and they are working (loading) well.
Third issue is not really an issue as it requites associated patch from Webmin. It will be fixed with next Webmin version. More information here: https://github.com/qooob/authentic-theme/issues/861
Tell me more in particular what works poorly for you. I use my theme and I wouldn't stand any lagging, malfunctioning or any other buggy behaviour.

I know you do a fantastic work with the theme, and it's really appreciated!
This actually do happens all the time! I always log out from VM, not just close the window. But it doesn't matter if I log out from VM, close the browser, start it up again and log back in to VM... it still starts on the page I was on when logging out. And this only happens in Authentic theme. In the Framed Theme I actually can close the browser without logging out from VM, it still always starts on the System Information page. And i never use auto-login like "remember me" anywhere, I always type login/user credentials manually.
I hade some settings that utilized the right window better without the large gray areas on each side of the information, these setting is gone and most pages is back with the "gray bars".

I'd like to echo my compliments to Ilia as well. He's done a great job with the authentic theme.
However, for the last month or so I have been using the Virtualmin Framed Theme as well. From my perspective, it loads SO much quicker than the Authentic theme which prompted my decision to change.
The reason why you see old page without navigation after page reload, instead of default (in your case would be sysinfo page) is because you Webmin installation needs a patch in Webmin. https://github.com/qooob/authentic-theme/issues/861
The reason why your previous code in your extenisions would not work, it is because new 19 branch of the theme has tremendous changes.
You can send me your old code, I'll apply it to one of my old installations to see what you were trying to do and convert it for 19.xx branch.
Latest 19.xx if loaded not in single module mode (with left menu) will work very fast. It might still be slower than Gray Theme it Virtualmin Framed Theme but it's already very close. I'm trying to make it better and better but some things are hard to overcome, like a need to load a lot of code that Framed Themes didn't have.
There is update.sh script in Webmin. You could try updating it. Also pull latest development theme version and you will get things working.

From a speed perspective, Thank you, Ilia. I reverted back to the authentic theme and notice a huge difference from say a couple of months ago :)
