What are the FTP details to login?

This might sound too newbie but I can't find anywhere what the ftp details are for a virtualserver. I have created a virtualserver and have a username and password for it. The account type does contain FTP access so I know I can use it to login via FTP. What I need is the host and port.

I tried ftp.website.com and port 21 but I got an error: connection timeout. Also tried the hostname that I use in the browser to login to virtualmin but that didn't work either. Any help would be appreciated.

try using the IP address instead of ftp.website.com

also, try run this command and see if that helps modprobe nf_conntrack_ftp

Users for each domain will have access via SFTP on port 22. This is over ssh and will always be available to users. If your sever also has an ftp server installed, then access via FTP port 21 maybe possible. Or it maybe another port, seems 2222 sounds familiar for virtualmin. But I don’t use ftp on my servers at all. SO not sure on that.

But sftp://ip-address on port 22 should work for all users as long as the port is open on the firewall.
