migrating BIND

Hey All,

Is there an elegant way to move BIND 9.2.3 in webmin and VM GPL to a VMPro BIND 9.2.4? I need to change boxes so it's a good time to make the change but I notice that there are separate named.hosts directories and other differences I'm not sure of. It's currently running on Slackware and a good time to divest it.

Would it be dangerous just to start a clean BIND, assign the old IP and force the other boxes to update? Being mindful that this is the primary nameserver?
