Cant start postfix after changing server ip from 192.168.0.8 to public

Cant start postfix after changing server ip from 192.168.0.8 to public

I want my virtualmin to take over public DNS for my domain.

I changed the server ip address to 192.168.0.8 but if i change the ip to a public ip postfix wont start.

Should i manually just change all the A Records to the 172.x.x.x public ips ?

Is that the best way?
