A local webhost here in Australia has released a supposedly new service called "smart hosting"
Now i am very hazy on how it works....however, apparently the idea behind this service is that it is capable of automatically creating drafts of any updates to the webhosting directory and databases in the event the editor has an issue and loses the changes. It will then only update changes rather than all files and folders and database records.
I am not sure why this is so new...wordpress already has the draft capability built in...only its not automatic.
Is anyone able to clariy for me the idea of this so called "smart hosting" whilst i can if needed, i havent provided the webhost url because i do have a wholesale account with another of their subsiduaries for registering domains, and i dont want to be seen as advertising for them (especially as i host using google cloud vps and not the guys anyway)
