Upgrade stalls out.

Debian 4 box, Virtualmin 1.36 I had an email there were upgrades this morning. Virtual min, webmin, themes. When I go to install them in Virtmin modules, it stalls out on the Webmin Virtualmin server install. Any ideas on this. Has it screwed my box up by not completing? Here is what it says:

Now updating webmin-virtual-server ..

  Installing package(s) with command apt-get -y --force-yes -f install webmin-virtual-server ..

I rebooted the server and the update seems to have installed. I don't really know....

Except this one, I get an error message:

Now updating webmin-virtualmin-mailman ..

Installing package(s) with command apt-get -y --force-yes -f install webmin-virtualmin-mailman ..

.. install failed!

No packages were installed. Check the messages above for the cause of the error.

Hmmm...That's not much to go on.

What happens if you try to install it from the command line with:

apt-get install webmin-virtualmin-mailman

?

I get this:

ns1:~# apt-get install webmin-virtualmin-mailman
E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.

Hmm...that can't be related to any of our packages, as none of our packages have a configure stage. I guess follow the directions. ;-)

OK, I ran:
dpkg --configure -a

and it seemed to finish installing webmin and virtualmin. All the other upgrades also ran OK after this.

Thanks.

Awesome, thanks for the update! Glad to hear things straightened out. I'm not exactly sure about the sequence of events that led to that trouble...apt-get is pretty hostile to being called by anything other than a human, which is the one thing I like less about Debian and CentOS (yum is fantastic from a scripting standpoint...apt sometimes acts crazy if it can't ask questions).
