Virtualmin: Backup problem (06/08/19)

Hello,

I am working on a server of Ste SoYouStart having the following profile:

E5-SAT-1-64 Server - Intel Xeon E5-1630v3 - 64GB DDR4 ECC 2133MHz - SoftRAID 4x 2TB SATA - Centos7 / Webmin / Virtualmin

I realized for several weeks daily backups that had no problem thanks to the Backup Virtualmin backup to another server in Ssh.

But since five days, I have the following errors:

Here is the error log (received by mail) of my attempt to save in full Virtualmin format from server canada2 to canada1 (with the same characteristics as what was done between canada2 and the backup server and which worked so well until then - In all there are 15 domains on this virtualmin which represents 180GB of data in all):

Creating backup for virtual server aqwzsx.com setquota: user president does not exist. </ tt> at /usr/libexec/webmin/web-lib-funcs.pl line 1476. Deleting backups from / home / sav / canada2 / j_% Y-% m-% d on SSH server www.xxx.yyy.zzz older than 14 days .. .. found 1 backups, but none were old enough

To try to find a solution, I try this same backup by removing the domain aqwzsx.frde the list of servers to save and I get this error (in the console Virtualmin):

Creating the virtual server backup edcrfv.net .. The backup failed: setquota: user listbounce does not exist.

Can you give me your comments, tips or ideas? please thank you

Raphael

Hi,

It sounds like the backup system is having a problem with "unknown" users being referenced. Are you sure these two users exist?

  • president
  • listbounce
