I have a master server named numa6.numadns.com. I have the slave servers setup in the webmin server index (ns1.numadns.com and ns2.numadns.com) .
As well I have setup the clustering in Bind.
I have followed the steps here: https://www.virtualmin.com/documentation/dns/slave-configuration I am using Debian 9 on the master and on NS1. On NS2 I am running Debian 8
My issue is it is creating the zone on the slaves but it is not creating the records.
I have always setup my machines like this for years. I am curious if an update was done. Perhaps I am doing something wrong.
In the past when something like this happened I would update the host file on the master to have the IP address and it would then allow the records to transfer into the zone on the slave name servers.
Here is how my master host file looks:Your system has configured 'manage_etc_hosts' as True. As a result, if you wish for changes to this file to persist then you will need to either a.) make changes to the master file in /etc/cloud/templates/hosts.tmpl b.) change or remove the value of 'manage_etc_hosts' in /etc/cloud/cloud.cfg or cloud-config from user-data
