Lets Encrypt renewal is not working

Hello,

we are using debian 10 with Virtualmin and we have an issue with the renewal of Lets Encrypt certificates of the customer domains. The automatic renewal fails and if I want to create a new certificate I got the attached error message. The first lines of the output are telleing that there is already a valid certificate. So I guess the cron job for the renewal is working well. I know that the certificates if Let encrypt are normally stored in /etc/letsencrypt/live. But Virtual expect them in /home/domain.com/. So I also guess that the Virtualmin script should automatically copy the certificates there and also adapt the apache configuration to this new location.

My current workaround is to manually start the certbot on the command line select the domain and request a new certificate.

Please check what can be the issue.

Best regards, Christian

Howdy -- thanks for your report!

Note that we don't yet have official support for Debian 10, so there may indeed be some issues as we work towards fully supporting it so we can make an official release that supports that distro.

We'd expect some problems with the database too, you may be unable to create new database users.

We appreciate the report though, and I'm going to pass this along to Jamie for further comment.
