More IPV6 issues*It's over*

There are more serious bugs within the ipv6 stack of virt.

I was changing ipv6 addresses from one ip to another when I got the unable to remove address error that i see(in addition to the unable to assign address error). It is now more fun. Now none of the ipv6 address for any domain is now operable. they will not ping, they do not pass traffic on ipv6 at all. What I have to do now is when there's an error I have to go an remove each ipv6 address one by one...then I can go and reassign each ipv6 address. If i get an error i have to stop, start over, and try again and pray there are no errors. Come on guys...how long can it take to root out these ipv6 problems? I've tried it across multiple machines, reformatted multiple times...I wish I could say it's on my end..but it isn't.

Error: Failed to remove old IPv6 address : SIOCDIFADDR: Cannot assign requested address Error: Failed to remove old IPv6 address : SIOCDIFADDR: Cannot assign requested address

that's the error i see..and then all ipv6 traffic routing stops. I have to go remove every single ipv6 address...then i can re-allocate them and if i do not get that error..then it all works. The instant i get any kind of ipv6 error ALL ipv6 traffic basically null-routes. I have gone as far as to turn off firewallD..but that has not fixed this issue either,

Passing this along to Jamie for review.

It's over: I have been trying for a couple of years to get my control panel to work correctly. Unfortunately it appears my choice of web hosting control panel vendors has done me in. The issue has been constant ipv6 issues. My vendor, Virtualmin, is unable to fix the problems and unfortunately this means I have two choices. I have to switch to another control panel which will cost double what I am paying now for less features or I can slowly wind down operations.

All existing hosting arrangements will be honored until their expiry. I will not be accepting any new clients for web hosting and my servers will stay online until Jan 7th 2021. I have plenty of funds to keep things operating until that point. All offerings with the exception of ipv6 will also continue to operate until this time. I am also suspending billing for any renewals as since I am unable to provide the service I advertised I cannot, in good conscience) continue to bill for a service I cannot provide in full.

I simply do not have the resources to build my own panel at this time and the hundreds of hours I have spent have taken a toll on my health. It is, with a heavy heart, that I wind down my hosting operations. For all who have used my service, I thank you. If you want an archive of your site all you have to do is ask and I will make one for you that will facilitate your transition to other hosting. I will also turn over domains to your chosen registrar as well if you have purchased domains through me.Since I am giving over a year’s notice nobody will be shorted on their contracts. If you have any questions or concerns please contact me here or at 301-524-5271.

Sincerely, William Warren
