I'm running into an issue while trying to do a fresh install of Virtualmin on an Ubuntu VM for the past couple of days. I have tried recreating the VM, rebooting, refreshing repos, all to no avail. Please see the error log below where the Virtualmin install fails. Any assistance would be much appreciated.

We haven't received any similar reports though -- I don't imagine there's a proxy server in front of your system there? I wondered if maybe there's something like that changing something along the way. But we'll look further into that.

Thanks so much! No proxy server in front of my system. Other packages & repos install without issue as well. I will await comment from Joe. Thanks again for your assistance.

Also, trying clearing your APT cache with the command

found the issue. it appears the host the vm was on was routing traffic weird. once i fixed the routing, virtualmin installed without issue. my apologies for the false alarm. thank you all for your efforts.
