php not working at all.

when I try to access a php webpage on my new webmin server, it just loads the php code in the browser and does not parse the php. obviously php has not sticking somehow and either needs to be configured somehow. I've look in the php configure area and can't find anything that will fix this. So my question is where do I go in webmin/vmin to fix this?

Thanks, Ben

Hi Ben,

Which version of Virtualmin are you using, and how did you go about installing it?

And do you know if you're executing PHP as mod_php, CGI, or FCGI (that's in server configuration -> website options)?

Lastly, do you have suexec enabled?

I just installed it a couple days ago via using the virtualmin/webmin install.sh script. Which btw works so well for a successfull install. But, i'm having some issues. It may be from something I've done in the past couple of days due to experimenting. In fact tonight we're going to completely reinstall centos fresh and reinstall webmin fresh again. I had a version of ispconfig installed after webmin. I heard this wouldn't cause any issues but who knows. Regardless... Let me get back to you after we do a fresh install. if it happens again, then there is something wrong with something and we can then look though it. I'll keep you posted. Thanks for the response!

Here's my info regardless:

Operating system CentOS Linux 5.2
Webmin version 1.441 Virtualmin version 3.64.gpl GPL
Theme version 6.6
Kernel and CPU Linux 2.6.18-92.1.22.el5PAE on i686
