anyone actually responding to emails at vm?

Sent mail 1 over a week ago and second one straight to joe days ago.

Is anyone actually checking mail anymore?

Howdy,

Depending on what you need, your best bet is to open up a request in the Bugs and Issues tracker, or perhaps post a message here in the forums.

Joe and Jamie both have overflowing inboxes, but they regularly check the site here!

Where'd you get the idea that email was a good way to reach us? I'd like to correct it, if there's something indicating that on the website. I get about 500 messages a day. I sometimes get caught up on the weekends...but not always.

Getting support is covered here:

Thats not really what i am looking for.

I am looking for an answer to some questions i may not wish to raise in public and i would expect mailing sales@ would get me an answer when i am looking to upgrade some licenses.

Furthermore running the entire support trough a public bug tracker doesnt seem like a very customer minded way of doing things tbh.

Howdy,

Well, I can definitely appreciate that, I have requests I wouldn't be comfortable with the public seeing as well.

There's a "private" checkbox you can mark while filing a request to make it so that only the Virtualmin staff can see it.

Actually, I do try to respond to sales@ messages the same day. I guess I missed your message. Messages to joe@ are in the normal queue and can take days to get a response (again, 500 messages per day...I'm never caught up).

OK, I see your message. It came in on a weekend, when I was trying to catch up on personal mail. ;-)

Apologies for the lack of reply. I'll respond via email.
