Set auto-reply and forward but doesn't work

Hi,

I have recently set up a new email user and have been using usermin.

I set up an auto reply and also a forward to my gmail account, but neigther seems to be working.

Here is what I set up:

After setting the auto reply and forwarding up under Usermin, I went to VirtualMin under my main administrator (for the whole server) and looked at the user details for this user - I noticed that no auto reply or forwarding was set - even though it appered to be set in Usermin.

Why is that ? Surely they must show the same thing ?

Post edited by: Davvit, at: 2009/04/06 10:35

Are there any errors in the logfile -- either the mail log or the procmail.log?

Does this log help solve the problem of
why the forwarding and auto responder isn't working ?

I suspect the actual clue will be in procmail.log.

Hi Davvit Did you manage to solve it ? I've about the same problem as you had.

My problem, when forwarded, it uses "localdomain" I've no idea how it works. Normal, sending/receiving is no problem; thanks KH

This is my log
