hello together, I tried to install a higher version of proftpd than the old-stable 1.30 from the etch-backports and got the message that the package virtualmin-base will be removed...(not a good idea???) is there a way to get proftp 1.30 working with encryption? problem is the known issue with the directory-listing of the server and the current filezilla versions:
Command: LIST Response: 150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for file list Status: Server did not properly shut down TLS connection Error: Could not read from transfer socket: ECONNABORTED - Connection aborted Response: 226 Transfer complete. Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing

Is this a known issue with ProFTP? Do you know if there's a ProFTP bug report anywhere?
I'd be curious if it could be resolved by tweaking the ProFTP or Filezilla config -- as that would be a lot simpler than trying to utilize a different ProFTP version :-)
