Got VirtualMin working but...

Here's my dilemma. I want to keep the content I have in /var/www where it's at (that's where I keep my webhosting website and whmcs). All of the virtual hosts are stored in /home/{virtual_user}.

So, the website (main one) was working fine, but as soon as I added a virtual, the main went away. The files are still there, and all. But the browser says it can't see them. I've checked everything from apache2, bind9, and virtualmin. I really don't want to have to create a separate virtual directory for the main site. It would mean reinstalling WHMCS. Not that I'd loose anything because it's all stored in MySQL right now.

Any suggestions?

Can you outline why you can't just move the contents of /var/www to a new Virtualmin virtual server? That'd be the easiest solution, and avoids having to fiddle with the Apache config and not be able to use fcgid (which is fixed to serve only from /home).

I suppose I could. I'll just reinstall whmcs into a new virtual directory. I was hoping to not have to do that again as it's a pain to move folders around and change configs to make it safe to use.
