Error - Perl execution failed

I tried to update in panel, but got below error: HTTP/1.0 500 Perl execution failed Server: MiniServ/1.600 Date: Thu, 13 Mar 2014 08:56:33 GMT Content-type: text/html; Charset=iso-8859-1 Connection: close

Error - Perl execution failed

Undefined subroutine &virtual_server::ui_alert_box called at /usr/libexec/webmin/virtual-server/virtual-server-lib-funcs.pl line 10427.

I have googled the error, and then try to run below command but not work:

yum install wbt-virtual-server-theme

/etc/init.d/webmin restart

yum install wbt-virtual-server-theme

Hey 'kong any chance that you are on a Virtuozzo or Open Vz VPS? My previous VPS was on a Vz and I would see these errors all the time(which is why I switched to Xen). It may be that you are running out of resources, and the Vz way of handling things is rather spotty. Or should I say that host providers setup(configure) the Vz in a poor fashion, Joe

Howdy,

Yeah, OpenVZ can indeed lead to problems like that.

Another thought though, which Virtualmin version is it that you're using there?

Also, does it help to restart Webmin? You can do that with this command:

/etc/init.d/webmin restart
