Wanted to just do a final check on my CentOS install. What have been installing is the minimal CentOS 5. No GUI (Gnome disabled). I only install the default Base (minus Dialup Network Support) and the default editor (vim-enhanced). Before I install vmin pro, I disable the following services (based on an article on installing vmin GPL) ...
acpid anacron apmd autofs bluetooth cups firstboot gpm haldaemon hidd ip6tables kudzu lvm2-monitor mdmonitor messagebus netfs nfslock pcscd portmap rpcgssd rpcidmapd sendmail smartd yum-updatesd
Then I rum yum update
Then I install vmin pro.
I've done this many times now and have always ended up with a happy vmin system.. Before I commit this install process to my internal documentation ... is this OK? Are any of these services required? I'm pretty sure I can re-enable them in webmin if needed. But it looks to me that the vmin install script makes sure it has what it needs.

Yes, that will work fine. Virtualmin's installer pulls in all the dependencies it needs, so a minimal CentOS setup will work fine.
I have found that installing vim and unzip is useful if they are missing though.
