move delete backup option to the destination setting, instead of globally for the backup

Hi There,

Allowing backups to specify multiple destinations is awesome.

But it causes some issues too.

We use the FTP option to backup off site where we keep 30 days worth of backups, but we also backup locally to an NFS server where storage is very costly. It would be great if we could specify a different delete schedule for the local NFS backup (the second backup destination) to something other that the first one.

Currently, we are forced to make two backups one after the other: the 30 day trail backup going offsite, and the 3 day backup going locally to an NFS server (to quickly restore backups in case of DR).

Backups run into each other and instead of taking a couple hours, the whole thing takes 6 or 7 hours. It's quite problematic, and we tax the CPU twice as much.

How can we achieve the above within the current system, involving only one scheduled backup but multiple destinations on a different 'delete' schedule?

Thanks

I suppose that could be done, although it would require moving elements around in the UI ..

I'll look into it, and update this bug when it gets done.

This has been implemented, for inclusion in the 3.90 Virtualmin release.

Like always, you guys rock.

Thanks
