Customizing User/Disk Quota Monitoring Emails

I would like to customize the "Virtualmin Disk Quota Monitoring" and "Virtualmin User Quota Monitoring" email messages so I can communicate to my customers which steps they can take to solve the problem (increasing mailbox quota, deleting stuff, upgrading hosting plan...). I believe this would greatly improve the customer experience as many are just confused by the current emails they get and don't know what to do. Since there seems to be no way to do this via the Virtualmin interface, could you perhaps indicate where I can do this by hand?

Howdy -- you should actually be able to tweak that from within the Virtualmin UI.

If you go into Limits and Validation -> Disk Quota Monitoring, take a peek at the "Template for email to mail and FTP users" option. Would that do what you're after?

Wicked, that would solve it for the User Disk Quota part. But where is the template for the Domain Disk Quota email? It looks like so:

Server Quota Usage Status

somedomain.tld 500 MB 492.64 MB Reached 98 %

There is no template in Virtualmin to customize the entire email, but you can instead change individual messages within it. For example, if you wanted to replace the last line "Sent by Virtualmin at: https://somedomain.tld:10000" , you can create the file /etc/webmin/virtual-server/custom-lang containing a line like :

quotawarn_suffixdom=Your custom message here about saving disk space. BTW, this was sent by Virtualmin at: $1
