mod_rewrite and multisite Wordpress

Creating multisite in Wordpress. Would like any documentation about this with your server. Would also like to about mod_rewrite module as I can't seem to find. The instructions say that the server must support wildcard DNS. Does Virtualmin have that?

Howdy -- there isn't any documentation regarding multisite WordPress specific to Virtualmin, but I suspect it should work.

BIND and Virtualmin support wildcard DNS records.

Also, mod_rewrite is enabled in Apache by default. There's additional details about mod_rewrite available in the Apache documentation here:

I'm glad I got you. You've been there forever. Can you give me details about setting up wildcard DNS. I want to make a virtual server with that or edit an existing virtual server. This is not my strong area so any help would be appreciated.

To do that, what you can do is go into Server Configuration -> Website Options, and check "Website matches all sub-domains".

To read about what that does, click the help text for that option -- one of the things it describes is how it configures the wildcard DNS entry.
