Sure, you can add an extra FTP-capable account to a virtual server at Edit Mail and FTP Users -> Add a website FTP access user. A user created this way will have the same permissions when connecting via FTP as the domain owner.

Hi,
Thanks for a prompt response...
But it will refuse to let the user connect into public_html...
By default, it connects to its own home dir... And trying to put public html in relative directory gives me a message that the directory already exists...
Any advice on what I could do differently? Also tried the ftp directory restrictions.
Regards.
Marc

Are you sure? When you create a user using that "Add a website FTP access user" link, his home dir should get set to public_html

Doh!
I had looked on the left, not right! I am deeply sorry for this RTFM-type mistake. Arg! I hate looking that stupid.
And you may now have the right to think I had been negligent in my searches.
Thanks a bunch.
Marc
