I'm using Virtualmin 3.80.gpl.
After setting up an IP range for IPv6 in System settings -> Server Templates -> Virtual IP Addresses and setting the network mask in System Settings -> Virtualmin Configuration -> Network Settings, Virtualmin cannot automatically allocate an IP address to a new or existing domain.
From the command line, running "virtualmin modify-domain --domain somedomain.com --allocate-ip6" results in the error message "Failed to allocate IPv6 address from ranges!". Using the GUI results in the error message "Failed to modify server : Missing or invalid IPv6 address".

What are you entering for the IPv6 addresses to use as the start and end of the range exactly?

2605:7c00:0003::1010 to 2605:7c00:0003::ffff

FYI, I also tried using ranges like 2605:7c00:0003::1010 to 2605:7c00:0003::1100, as well as the full notation with all the 0's, and I still get the same error message.

Oh. There were changes made in Virtualmin version 3.81.gpl that changed the way that addresses are assigned to virtual domains, and this feature now works with IPv6 address assignment. Status is now closed.
