I am trying to restore from a regular server to AWS, but I get this error when I try it.... I have set the external address in the DNS Module Config page, but now I'm stuck

Try going to System Settings -> Virtualmin Configuration -> Networking settings, and setting the "Default IP address for DNS records" to whatever external address has been assigned to your system via EC2.

Wonderful, thank you. I had it set for automatically detect external address, but once I set it, it went through just fine

I recently find an answer for this problem digital ocean changes the /etc/hosts you just need to change 10.10.10.10 the line that says: 10.10.10.10 yourhost to your server IP address
