FTP Account Accessing Multiple Virtual Servers

Hello.

I am new to Virtualmin, I have joined you from the HSphere world. ;-) I tried searching for this info but didnt find anything relevant, so here goes..

Regarding creating FTP accounts, I understand how to create an FTP account for one Virtual Server or a Sub-Server. Question is how do I make one FTP account and grant him access across several Virtual Servers and/or Sub-Servers?

Also something I found irritating is when editing a user within "Mail and FTP Users" under "Allow access to web directories" the full path is not visible because it is too long to fit within this narrow text box. I'm using FF3, does that happen on all browsers?

Thanks. Rezilient

Oh and follow up question regarding those "allowed web directories" if I leave that blank, will that mean the FTP user wont have access to see anything at all? Thanks for your help.

I have a FTP user and he is seeing everything under public_html automatically or you can limit this to a certain subdirectory under it.

As for under "Allow access to web directories" the full path is not visible I don't see a full path myself, I only see a protected folder "stats" which I can give access to to the ftp user.

how do I make one FTP account and grant him access across several Virtual Servers and/or Sub-Servers My best guess is that you can create a resellers account for this and then add domains to it that the reseller needs to ftp in. In the webmins users module you should be able to limit the rights of this reseller.

I am not too sure though how this would work exactly as I had no need yet for this set up.
