Preventing users from changing domU's ip address

Is there a way to prevent users from changing their virtual server's ip address from within the guest (editing the ifcfg-eth0 and setting it to another ip, for example).

Currently if I change the ip within the guest, Cloudmin still thinks it has the old ip and thngs start getting strange.

I wouldn't want a customer to be able to change their ip address to the same address as another vps, for example.
