virtualmin wont load after reboot

I am setting up a new server, on CENTOS5.2, on SLICEHOST, a virtualserver hosting solution.

My Virtualmin installation was going great. I was able to get it to load. I was checking everything that the configuration was good and it was saying that I had an issue with the "network interface".

I set the IP address to the static IP address of the server in the network interface area, only changed that one setting, and rebooted the server.

After this, the virtualmin webpage refuses to load up but my default page on the server will load fine.

What did I affect? I am able to SSH to the sever. Is there a config file that I can edit via command-line to get myself back on track? I want to revert my one change back and make sure I am all good.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Kyle

I figured out my issue - webmin is not set to start automatically after a reboot. So now my question is, where do I set this? I know this is a newbie question.

Thanks again

Now this is weird. It seems I keep overrunning my allotment of CPU or RAM usage. WEBMIN services keep shuting down and I keep having to restart the services with /etc/webmin/start. It seems that I have already maxed out 256MB of RAM on CentOS 5.2. Is a virtualmin or webmin install that intensive? I have only barely setup on vhost and I have to restart webmin about 6 times.

Hi Kyle,

You may want to peruse the "Virtualmin on Low Memory" guide here, it gives some tips on minimizing RAM usage:
